CINCINNATI -- After a disappointing performance against rival Cleveland the week before, the Bengals gave Who Dey nation a reason to celebrate Sunday.
The 13-6 home victory over the New England Patriots (4-1) and future Hall of Famer Tom Brady helped make up for disappointing loss to the Browns last week.
The Bengals (3-2) ended Brady's streak of 52 consecutive games with a touchdown pass on Sunday, sacking him on his first pass attempt and keeping the pressure going on a rain-soaked day in The Jungle. Geno Atkins sacked Brady on his first pass attempt, and the team dropped him four times overall.
9 On Your Side reporter Amy Wadas caught up with several fans after the game.
Even though they were soaked from hours of unrelenting rain, the fans couldn’t have been happier. Some were surprised by the outcome, several were happy the Bengals finally played to their potential, but all were ecstatic about the win over the previously unbeaten Patriots.
