NASHPORT, Ohio - A pizza delivery driver who was abducted during a delivery run was found dead in Dillon State Park.

According to the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office, dispatchers received a call from the Cambridge Police Department just before 2 p.m. Thursday stating that a female pizza delivery driver had not returned after delivering to a residence.

Deputies said an officer went to the delivery address and talked to a woman there. The woman told police that her boyfriend was last seen leaving the residence and driving the pizza delivery vehicle.

According to deputies, officers received information on the cellphone number of the suspect and began to "ping" the cellphone for location.

The man was stopped by state troopers while traveling east on I-70 at about 7 p.m. and arrested.

Deputies later requested the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office to meet them at Dillon State Park where the victim’s body was found. The park is about 65 miles east of Columbus.

The victim's name will not be released until the next of kin is notified.

No names have been released, and no other information was immediately available.
