CINCINNATI -- Welcome to Political Cocktail, a brief weekly interview show with local politicians and other persons of interest, done over drinks at Japp's Since 1879 in Over-the-Rhine.

This week, I interview Alex Triantafilou, chairman of the Hamilton County Republican Party. Among the topics we discuss is why he wants the Board of Elections to move to Mount Airy, is voter fraud a legitimate problem and what are Cincinnati's chances of nabbing the 2016 Republican National Convention.

The featured cocktail this week is "The First Word," created by master mixologist Stuart MacKenzie. It consists of rye, chartreuse, Luxardo, lime and Angostura bitters.
