CINCINNATI - Election Day 2013? In the bag. Twitter's first day on the NYSE? Done, and quite successfully so. A fitness mixer? Booty-kicking. It's been a jam-packed week in the digital work, so let's dive in and recap.

Election Day and social media. The buzz in the Tri-State was centered on Election Day on Nov. 5. People were surely talking about it on social media. Whether Cincinnati voters supported or opposed mayor-elect John Cranley’s platform, they shared their thoughts with us on our Facebook and Twitter feeds.

Want to connect with Cincinnati’s new leaders? We’ve assembled a list of Twitter accounts you can follow to stay in-the-know when the new elected officials get to work.

And there's more. Just hours after Cranley won the mayoral race, someone created the parody Twitter account @mayorcranley.

A sweet price for Twitter. Twitter’s now public, and it appears people are pretty psyched to invest in the social media platform. The stock opened at $45.10 a share on day one, a whopping 73 percent above it’s initial offering price.

“It clearly shows that demand exceeds the supply of share,” said Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter. “It’s impossible to know what the real value is.”

TapFit’s first fitness mixer is a booty-kicking success. I headed down to Covington Arts on Nov. 6 to check out local mobile fitness startup TapFit’s fitness mixer: a workout sampler that featured TRX, kickboxing, yoga and Pilates demonstrations, as well as healthy work out fuel and essential oils for mental and physical recovery. Check out my review of the event on WCPO.com.

Relationship recipe for disaster. Are you single? Female? On Facebook? A new study claims you’re more likely to suffer from “friend envy” and Facebook-stalk guys for potential dates. Apparently, it’s bad for your health.

In the words of my spirit animal Lucille Bluth, “I don’t understand the question, and I won’t respond to it.” As a single 25-year-old, I reserve the right to pour over years of Facebook pictures featuring the guys in whom I’m interested. Is it stalking? Maybe. But if they didn’t want me to look at their pictures at 2 a.m. when I’m kept company by Netflix and a bowl of Pad Thai, they shouldn’t have accepted my friend request. So no, I don’t think being single and on Facebook is unhealthy at all.

The very first YouTube Awards. Not to forgotten amidst the excitement of the CMA Awards on Nov. 6, YouTube's very first award show went down Sunday, Nov. 3. Miss it? Catch up on WCPO.com.

What were some of the biggies this week for you? Let’s chat on Twitter, @jennyfromthebak, and talk about it!
