Getting choked up about Vegas shooting makes Kimmel a crybaby, according to alt-right street artist

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel had rarely been political before the April 21 birth of his youngest son, Billy, who arrived in the world with a life-threatening heart defect called pulmonary atresia.

Since then, however, he's become an increasingly impassioned and far-reaching voice in the American political landscape, drawing more attention than more explicitly political hosts such as Seth Meyers with his earnest and often tearful pleas for affordable health care and increased gun control in the wake of the Las Vegas shooting.

Slate called Kimmel's emotional monologue the night after the Vegas shooting "sincere and raw."

Alt-right street artist Sabo, seeing the host well up about the overnight deaths of 58 people in his hometown, came up with another descriptor: Cry-baby.

Posters depicting Kimmel as Johnny Depp's eponymous character in John Waters' "Cry-Baby" appeared Friday near Kimmel's home in Hollywood, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Nearby, a bench bore a picture of a tearful Kimmel dabbing at his eyes next to an advertisement for "The Jimmy Kimmel Estrogen Hour."

Crying about mass murder is for women, apparently.

Sabo's website, to which WCPO will not link due to its content, reveals that blog posts calling black children by racial slurs and murals of a topless, 666-tattooed Hillary Clinton are for him.

"We allow Jimmy Kimmel into our homes because at one point we considered him to be entertaining," he told the Hollywood Reporter. "Now he's nothing more than a talking head for the Democrat party."

On Friday evening, Kimmel took a picture with the bench. His pose was informative.

"I encourage all fellow cry babies to support Everytown for Gun Safety," he wrote to the Hollywood Reporter.
