PD: No bodily fluids found after student accused of passing out 'semen-filled' cupcakes

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Police are continuing to investigate a bizarre story out of California, but are now saying no bodily fluids were found in cupcakes shared by a 10th grader at a Bakersfield high school.

Police received reports that a student at Centennial High School passed out cupcakes at school on Thursday that were laced with semen and bodily fluids.

A Centennial student contacted Scripps station KERO-TV and said that the girl claimed to have put pubic hair, semen, expired food and pills into the cupcakes.

That same student said that the girl passed the cupcakes out to the students who were picking on her.

When the students asked the girl why the cupcakes tasted bad she told them it was because she had placed bodily fluids in the cupcakes.

Bakersfield Police investigated the reports and found that the cupcakes were made with household kitchen items such as mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, and soy sauce.

KERO contacted school administration and the district for comment. The district is aware of the situation but has yet to comment. The Health Department is also looking into the matter with the school.

The cupcakes have been destroyed.

Students also said that they were notified of a new policy at the school Friday stating that no outside food is allowed to be brought to the school.

Students said a food day in a French class was canceled due to the incident.

Police say their investigation is still ongoing.
