HEBRON, Ky. -- The holiday season is right around the corner and about 40 million Americans are expected to travel more than 50 miles away from home. Travelers may be spending the holidays with some snow, sleet, wind and rain.
Airline passengers hoped their plans would be untouched by snow and sleet, but Mother Nature had other plans this year.
WCPO reporter Amy Wadas talked with travelers Tuesday night at CVG who were faced with flight problems.
"I'd just rather not spend six hours in an airport, but I have a book and computer so I'm good," Pat Metzger of Los Angeles, Calif. said.
By Wednesday, the Mid-Atlantic area and the Northeast regions could get hit with the storm.
Rhoda Weston of Symmes Township just got back home from a conference in Fla. On the other hand, her friend wasn't so lucky.
"She got a text in the middle of the conference that told her she has to change her flights and fly from Chicago to San Jose, instead of Dallas to San Jose," Weston said.
