An estimated 10,000 people attend LumenoCity, a light show cast on Music Hall to the tunes of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Cincinnati Pops, with performances by the Cincinnati Ballet, Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, in Over-the-Rhine's Washington Park.

About 42,500 ticketed spectators watched the three special performances and the dress rehearsal from the grand lawn in Washington Park, the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra announced Monday. About 2,500 tickets went unused.
Thousands more gathered outside the gates, and others watched from balconies and rooftops.
But it wasn't all about having a good time. LumenoCity also provided local businesses with a chance to reach out to the crowds.
