Man shows up at local hospital with gunshot wounds
CINCINNATI -- A man showed up at a local hospital with gunshot wounds early Tuesday, according to District 1 police.
Investigators were notified by University of Cincinnati Medical Center staff that the victim showed up just before 3 a.m. with a gunshot wound to his arm.
The man told police he was shot on Liberty Street near Ollie's Trolley "sometime overnight." However, officials have not been able to find any evidence of a shooting at that location.
Investigators say the man suffered non life-threatening injuries and their investigation continues.
Middletown police find woman's body inside vehicle
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Middletown police officers found the body of a woman inside a vehicle in Middletown Monday afternoon.
Officers were called to the 3000 block of Morgan Street at about 4:20 p.m. to check the well being of a woman. When they arrived, they found a 60-year-old woman dead in the vehicle's passenger seat.
Lt. Leanne Hood gave no further information, and said detectives would handle the investigation.
