But in order to accommodate the good time at the Tap 'N' Run 4K, motorists will have to endure a temporary traffic headache.
The 2.4-mile race will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, June 14 in downtown Cincinnati. It's scheduled to begin just after 1:30 p.m. and end at about 4 p.m.
The cost to participate is $55, but it comes with event-centric swag including a T-shirt, sunglasses and a medal for completing the race. Fittingly, the medal doubles as a bottle opener.
Runners/walkers have the option to down a little liquid courage at three chugging stations set up along the course. They'll also get a 12-ounce beer at the end of the race to celebrate their feat.
Just a reminder: Even if they don't plan to take part in the drinking activities, which aren't mandatory, participants must be 21 years or older.
Make sure to remember your ID.
