Police: Violent home invasion in Middletown, victim also cited

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Middletown police have arrested one man and are searching for two others after a violent home invasion early Wednesday morning.

The incident happened at about 1 a.m. in the 700 block of Eaton Avenue, according to WHIO.

Middletown Police Lieutenant Jim Cunningham said three men kicked in the door of the residence and struck Ronnie Brown in the face with a gun in front of his girlfriend and 4-month-old baby.

Cunningham said the men stole hundreds of dollars, a cellphone and marijuana from inside the home.

Police tracked one of the robbers identified as Bradley Bush, 20, according to a press release.

WHIO said Bush had possession of the victim's cellphone and a new $100 bill, believed to have been one of the bills taken during the home invasion.

Investigators are still searching for the remaining two suspects.

Bush has been charged with aggravated burglary and drug abuse.

Police issued Brown a criminal summons for possession of marijuana.

This case remains under investigation.
