CLEVES, Ohio -- An Addyston, Ohio man was arrested for an assault and robbery at the Marathon gas station on State Route 128 in Cleves, Ohio that happened Sunday, Nov. 17.
Mark Blackburn entered the store, according to Cincinnati Det. Andrew Guy, and chose two bottles of beer to buy. When he got to the counter, 22-year-old Blackburn put the bottles down, then grabbed one and jumped over the counter.
He hit the clerk on the head with the bottle, grabbed $900 from the open register and ran from the store.
The clerk told Guy that Blackburn was a regular customer.
Blackburn was charged with aggravated robbery.
