Fort Mitchell police search for driver of black SUV who struck motorcyclist and fled

FORT MITCHELL, Ky. -- Police are looking for the driver of a black SUV who struck a motorcyclist on Buttermilk Pike Sunday evening and left the scene.

The motorcycle driver, identified as Corey Elam of Crescent Springs, received multiple injuries after the SUV sideswiped him in Fort Mitchell at about 10:15 p.m.

On Monday, Fort Mitchell police sought the public’s help in identifying the driver of the SUV, possibly an Acura MDX, last seen driving west on Buttermilk Pike toward Villa Hills.

Elam was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. His condition Monday afternoon was not immediately known.
