COVINGTON, Ky. -- The man who kept police at bay for nearly 20 hours during a standoff in December at his Latonia home will speak about the incident at the Kenton County Jail Tuesday.
Michael Vaughan is expected to hold a press conference from behind bars, and discuss what led him to hold his three kids hostage and try to burn his house down.
While charged with attempted murder of a police officer, Vaughan says he's suffered from post traumatic stress disorder since the incident happened - one of the key topics for discussion, his attorney Chris Roach said.
Vaughan's bond is set at $250,000. If convicted, he'll face up to 20 years in prison.
WCPO reporter Mario Ramirez spoke to Roach.
