The Fairfield resident faces charges of aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and five counts of kidnapping.
Turnage ran track for the University of Akron as a sprinter, and was a graduate of Mt. Healthy High School.
The Friday before he was shot, Turnage went to a football game with his close friend, Jemiah Tolbert. The two had fun together, and Tolbert wasn't ready to hear his friend had died just two days later.
"He didn't deserve it. Vince ain't had no problems with nobody," Tolbert said.
