Police identify man who died two days after Cincinnati Court Street shooting

CINCINNATI -- The 36-year-old man shot in the back of the head on West Court Street Aug. 1 has died.

Cincinnat police confirmed Ceran Lipscomb died Sunday. Officers found Lipscomb shortly before 7 p.m. Friday in the intersection of West Court and Cutter streets.

Medics took Lipscomb to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was declared brain dead just minutes later. His body lingered on for about 48 hours.

Police said no suspect was found Friday night, nor did they have a description of the person.
