CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati was on partial lock down after a person with a gun was seen near Procter Hall on Vine Street Wednesday afternoon.
The lockdown of Procter Hall occurred at about 3 p.m. The public was asked to stay in the building or away from the area as police searched for the possible suspect.
UC police officers believe the individual fled south on Short Vine and they were searching nearby buildings as a precaution at about 3:30 p.m.
By 3:45 p.m. UC police said the area was clear of any potential danger.
