Cincinnati police identified the man shot to death in South Fairmount Friday evening.

CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati police identified the man shot to death in South Fairmount Friday evening.
Damon Cure, 36, died after police found him in the 2100 block of Queen City Avenue. Cure was pronounced dead at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
A second gunshot victim, Alex Penland, 43, found on Queen City Avenue was also transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds. By Saturday morning, Penland was charged with murder for the death of Cure.
The shooting between the two men happened shortly before 10 p.m. in the parking lot of the Golden Nugget Restaurant, which is near the intersection of Wyoming and Queen City avenues.
Cure was pronounced dead at about 10:35 p.m.
Shortly after the shooing, police said Penland had life-threatening injuries.
No further information was immediately available.
