Princess Diana exhibit to conclude 11-year tour at Cincinnati Museum Center in February

CINCINNATI — More than 15 years after her death, Princess Diana’s memory still stirs interest. The award-winning exhibition Diana, A Celebration,  which chronicles the life of the late Princess of Wales will open at Cincinnati Museum Center on Feb. 14, 2014 as the final stop on its 11-year tour.

The exhibition presents the life and humanitarian work of Diana through galleries containing some of her prized possessions – ranging from her royal wedding gown to family heirlooms, personal mementos, and rare home movies. 

A portion of the exhibit shows her engagement and wedding to Prince Charles.The glorious Royal Wedding features her resplendent gown, diamond tiara, veil and 25-foot train, which has been idolized around the world.

"We are thrilled to be bringing an exhibit that highlights the life and philanthropic accomplishments of a woman who inspired people around the world with her leadership and dedication to international causes," said Francie Hiltz, Cincinnati Museum Center Board Chair. 

The exhibition is on loan for tour from the Althorp Estate, the Spencer family’s 500-year-old ancestral home.
