New website helps commuters avoid downtown construction

CINCINNATI -- For anyone who works or ventured downtown lately, the signs are everywhere –- construction.

Thanks to the streetcar project currently making its way through Over-the-Rhine and construction projects dunnhumby’s new headquarters and the Banks, road closures are a daily fact for drivers.

In order to alleviate Cincinnati’s revitalization pains, the city recently created a new website and social media push to help make navigation easier.

Ursula Miller with the city recently revealed the new tool, called Roadmap Cincy.

The app, along with an accompanying website and Twitter account, offers continuing updates of road closures and lane restrictions for downtown, OTR and the Banks.
