CINCINNATI -- Bond was set at $1 million Tuesday for a 35-year-old man accused of killing a 23-year-old at a Cincinnati convenience store on Thanksgiving.
Anthony Broadus Jr. was arrested Monday four days after police said he shot John L. Derrico at the Mount Airy Food Mart near the intersection of Colerain Avenue and Kirby Avenue.
Authorities arrived at the scene shortly after 8:15 p.m. and rushed Derrico to University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Broadus fled the scene and was later apprehended by Cincinnati police. He is charged with murder.
