CINCINNATI -- Two people are dead after a head-on crash Christmas Eve in Kennedy Heights.
The crash happened just after midnight when three vehicles collided in the 6500 block of Montgomery Road.
Investigators said 28-year-old Orion Finnigan was heading west on Montgomery Road when he struck the rear end of 27-year-old Christopher Broadus’ vehicle.
After hitting Broadus’ car, Finnigan veered left and hit a car driven by 78-year-old Arnold Curtis Jr. head-on.
Finnigan was thrown from his vehicle and was declared dead at the scene. Officers said he was not wearing his seatbelt.
Curtis suffered critical injuries and died at the scene, police said. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Police said Broadus was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured in the crash.
Investigators said speed and impairment appear to be factors in the crash.
Montgomery Road was shut down until about 6 a.m.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Cincinnati Police Department’s Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
