CINCINNATI -- A man was shot and killed in the middle of an English Woods street Wednesday night.
The shooting happened at about 9:30 p.m. near Bleecker and Sutter avenues. Paramedics found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds but were unable to revive him.
The victim was identified as 29-year-old Eric Cannady Jr.
Witnesses heard multiple gunshots fired, including Diondre Hall who's lived in the area for 24 years.
"We were sitting in the house watching TV and the next thing you heard was a lot of gun shots," Hill said. "I don't know how many it was, I just know it was a lot of gun shots."
Hill said he hears gunshots all the time, "but I haven't heard or seen anybody die in years, and I've lived here all my life."
"We have no witnesses, we have people that have heard shots and that's the extent of their observations," Sgt. Mike Miller said. "It was a defunct housing project back then but everything has been torn down, so now this road is primarily a pass through to Westwood Northern Boulevard."
