John Clements: Hoarder gets out of jail under orders to keep property clean

CINCINNATI --  A hoarder in East Price Hill got out of jail Tuesday and will be able to live at home as long as he cleans up his act and his property.

A judge gave two year's probation to John Clements, who was jailed Feb. 24 after police said he violated probation.

Neighbors complained for years about the mess in the 1600 block of Atson Lane. The city finally declared it a fire hazard.

While Clemens was behind bars, his son cleaned up his property.

Clements was outside working on his car with his son Tuesday afternoon. He didn't want to talk on camera but said he was glad to be home and admitted that he has an illness.

Judge Russell Mock ordered  Clements to undergo treatment.

Clements’ lawyer told WCPO that he is working on getting help with possible mental issues.
