CINCINNATI - The annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive was held Saturday, May 11.
Locally the non-perishable food drive supports the work being done by the FreeStore Foodbank.
The yearly campaign started in 1991 as a pilot program with Letter Carriers in a handful of cities. More than 1 billion pounds of food has been donated nationally since the drive started 21 years ago.
9 On Your Side spoke with representatives from The FreeStore Foodbank and the local Letter Carriers Branch 43 about the campaign.
