CINCINNATI -- Two upscale Cincinnati restaurants known for five-star dining are among the top 100 restaurants in America -- and one is even in the top 10.
Orchids at Palm Court and Boca received the top honors Thursday from OpenTable, a national restaurant review and reservation website.
Orchids was ranked seventh in America and was named among famous restaurants in Los Angeles, New York, Boston and Baltimore.
American Culinary Federation 2011-2012 USA Chef of the Year Todd Kelly is the executive chef of Orchids, which specializes in modern American cuisine prepared with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.
The restaurant is in the National Historic Landmark Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza.
Boca is run by David Falk and known for its mix of Italian and French cuisine.
The list of winners is derived from more than five million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for about 19,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
