Cincinnati SWAT respond to domestic situation in Walnut Hills

CINCINNATI -- Two people walked peacefully out of a house located at Rogers Place in Walnut Hills Saturday morning after a SWAT unit was called to the scene.

A domestic situation developed inside the home at about 3:30 a.m. when a man got into a fight with his girlfriend, Cincinnati police said. Family members called 911 after they said the man would not let the woman leave the house.

Police surrounded the location at the corner of Rogers and Gilbert Avenue at about 7 a.m.

The standoff with SWAT lasted for about a half hour.

No one was injured in the incident.
