CINCINNATI -- The beginning of 2014 may have brought more snow than Tri-Staters want, but Graeter’s revealed Friday a better, tastier side of cold: A new ice cream flavor.
The ice cream shop will offer the Salted Caramel Fudge Brownie flavor at all Graeter’s stores through April, or while supplies last.
The new flavor features a family recipe of caramel made with slow cooked brown sugar, salt and cream.
“Salted Caramel is one of our original classic ice cream flavors,” said Chip Graeter, fourth generation owner of the family business. “We simmer 100 percent all-natural brown sugar to its slightly salted final state, which is caramel. The bite-sized sea salt caramel fudge brownies make this the perfect flavor combination.”
The brownies inside the ice cream are handcrafted for Graeter’s by Brownie Points, an award-winning company in Columbus, Ohio.
The new flavor is available by the scoop and by the pint only at Graeter’s ice cream store locations and online at www.graeters.com .
