GOSHEN, Ohio – Everyone in the Tri-State knows pigs fly. Now they also play polo.
Dhani Jones and local non-profit, the BowTie Foundation announced “The Galloping Pig,” a fundraising event that will feature two polo matches between the Cincinnati and Columbus polo clubs on Sunday, Sept. 15.

The BowTie Foundation supports underprivileged children. Money raised by the event will go toward funding a program ran by Breakthrough Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Arts Museum to enrich the lives of urban middle school students, according to Galloping Pig organizers.
Dhani Jones is a former Cincinnati Bengals football player and hosted the Travel Channel series Dhani Tackles the Globe.
The event, held at Wilshire Farms in Goshen, will also feature music by The Kentucky Struts, be emceed by Cincinnati Council member P.G. Sittenfield, and offer food and drinks. In addition, visitors will be able to watch a Segway polo event.
Organizers say three levels of tickets will be available for purchase: VIP, drive-in, and general admission. Description of ticket prices and package details can be viewed at www.thegallopingpig.com.
