LEBANON, Ohio -- Delivery giant FedEx will celebrate its recent Lebanon expansion on Wednesday.
The company is set to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at its new 200,000 square-foot Homan Road facility at 12:30 p.m.
Company officials said the new distribution center will help them meet growing demand for their services.
In addition to FedEx Ground officials, Lebanon City Manager Pat Clements, representatives from Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s office and other local officials will be in attendance.
According to FedEx, the facility is part of a nationwide expansion that includes the addition of 11 major hubs and 500 other facilities since 2005.
Officials said the volume of packages its ground service handles every business day has doubled in the past 10 years.
