BUTLER COUNTY, Ohio -- The Lakota School District will bring good news and a helping hand to parents by offering extended school bus service beginning in February.
The new bus service was approved along with the recent passage of a levy at Lakota schools. About 2,400 more students, ranging from 2nd to 6th grades, will be able to take the bus.
With the additional bus service, students who live outside a one-mile radius of a school will have a ride to school and a ride home.
