CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Thursday night near a park in Over-the-Rhine.

The initial report came in at about 10:30 p.m. for a shooting on Woodward Road near Ziegler Park.

The victim is currently in surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to officials.

No other information is available at this time.
