CINCINNATI -- Amidst all the back to school activities going on at Xavier University, a select group of sophomores, juniors and seniors will move into the newest housing complex Friday.
About 480 students will move into the newly completed University Station.
The $54 million mixed-use project sits on 15 acres adjacent to the university between Evanston and Norwood. The development is located on Cleneay Avenue off Montgomery Road.

Officials said the off-campus project is intended to serve the university and the larger community.
To help make the move-in process more fun, Xavier officials said they planned a nautical theme complete with a photo booth, snacks and giveaways. There’s even a happy hour for parents sponsored by Listermann Brewery .
Retail outlets at the complex include a university bookstore, Starbucks and Graetere’s ice cream.
TriHealth was already leased office space in the development. Officials said Bethesda Family Practice will move from its current Norwood location to University Station and Queen City Physicians is opening an extension of its Hyde Park office at University Station.
Other companies leasing office space include CTI Clinical Trial and Consulting Services.
