Xavier students offer free hugs on Fountain Square

CINCINNATI -- There doesn't seem to be much time to stop and smell the flowers during a workday.

But what if you were offered a hug?

Xavier University students were on Fountain Square Friday hugging anyone who wanted one.

"It's important to me because my No. 1 love language is physical touch, and I feel most loved when I'm giving hugs or high fives,” Xavier student Forest Hempen said. "I think a hug is the way that we share love and embrace people for who they are."
