AMELIA, OHIO, MAY 12, 2014 -- Laura Buchannan and Andrew Chase were arrested after Clermont County Sheriff's deputy found a mobile meth lab in their vehicle during a routine traffic stop on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
Two people were charge with possessing a mobile methamphetamine lab in Clermont County Saturday night.
AMELIA, Ohio -- Two people were charge with possessing a mobile methamphetamine lab in Clermont County Saturday night.
Laura Buchannan, 26 of Milford, and Andrew Chase, 26 of Amelia both face one count of illegal assembly each after a Clermont Count Sheriff’s deputy found a “one pot” cooker used to make the drug during a routine traffic stop.
The deputy stopped the pair’s vehicle at about 7:20 p.m. for a moving violation near the intersection of State Route 125 and Church Street. During the process of interviewing the two, the deputy observed suspicious behavior.
The deputy’s deployed his K-9 unit to inspect the vehicle. The dog found powder meth along with the pot.
The Clermont County Narcotics Unit processed the scene and disposed of the hazardous material.
Buchannan and Chase were jailed at the Clermont County Jail.
