FORT THOMAS, Ky. -- A 16-year-old girl has been missing since Saturday and Fort Thomas police are hoping someone knows where she is.
Edyn Nicole Palmer was last seen at 4:30 p.m. alone in vicinity of Highland Hills Park wearing basketball shorts and a bright green tank top. She was also carrying a jean bag and wears glasses, Fort Thomas police said.
Palmer is described as 5-feet-3-inches tall with brownish-red hair, brown eyes and weighing about 188 pounds. She also has a long scar down the length of her right forearm.
Police believe Palmer ran away, but are still trying to locate her. Family members said she needs to take medication daily and suffers from mental illness.
“This is way more complicated than just a simple runaway situation, this is a child with critical medical needs that require daily medication,” Palmer's mother, Kelly Culver, said.
If anyone has seen Palmer they are asked to call the Campbell County Dispatch Center at 859-292-3622 or dial 911.
