WAYNE Twp., Ohio -- A 19-year-old man was killed after striking a utility pole in Wayne Township Thursday.
Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones says the crash happened in the 4500 block of Wayne Trace Road.
Toby M. Weber was traveling south on the roadway in a 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer when he ran off the right side of the road and crashed into a utility pole, according to Jones.
Weber was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash has not been determined but officials believe speed was a factor.
The accident remains under investigation.
