MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Police believe they've found the man who threatened a Family Dollar employee with a knife during a store robbery attempt Sunday night.

Raylin Robertson, 30, was taken into custody sometime before 7 p.m. at the the corner of Wildwood Road and Ellen Drive in Middletown in connection with the robbery, according to a release from local police officials.

The release indicates Robertson entered the store at 650 North University Boulevard at about 4:30 p.m. and then threatened the employee with a knife. The Middletown man then forced the employee to open a cash register.

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, Robertson fled the store on foot and was on the run until he was arrested a short time later, according to the release.

Robertson is charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

No one was injured.
