ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Three people were injured in a crash in St. Clair Township on Thursday night.
The crash happened just before 10 p.m. on Jacksonburg Road south of Taylor School Road.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office said 17-year-old Ashley Spaulding of Trenton was driving south on Jacksonburg Road when she tried to pass a vehicle, lost control and slide sideways across both lanes of traffic.
Deputies said Spaulding’s vehicle struck a northbound car driven by 19-year-old Dalton Williams of Trenton.
Spaulding and her passenger, 17-year-old Sierra Lindamood of St. Clair Twp., were flown by helicopter to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries.
Williams was taken to Atrium Hospital in Middletown. His injuries have not been disclosed.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
