A man wanted in a Hamilton homicide has been arrested in Lexington, Ky.

HAMILTON, OHio -- A man wanted in a Hamilton homicide has been arrested in Lexington, Ky.
Phillip Coleman III was wanted in connection with the death of Deandrew Jackson.
Officers said Jackson was fatally shot on March 21 at about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Pershing Avenue and South Front Street. He died at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Detectives said they were able to develop information that Coleman had left Ohio to avoid capture.
Working with law enforcement in Mississippi, Georgia and other states, officers were able to track Coleman to a Greyhound bus that was driving through the Lexington area.
“Our detectives have been working around the clock to determine who committed this murder, attempt to locate the suspect, and take him into police custody. Through the excellent cooperation of police agencies from many states, Coleman is now in custody,” Chief Scott Scrimizzi said in a release.
Officials said Hamilton police are heading to Lexington to continue the investigation.
