HAMILTON, Ohio – Undercover Butler County police officers seized marijuana, $20,000 cash and a 2002 Mercedes early Wednesday morning.
Three men, who Butler County Sheriff Rick Jones said were part of a drug chain from Mexico, were also arrested.
The members of the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics unit (BURN) seized the items and made the arrests after executing a search warrant at 3 a.m. at 234 Minster Street in Hamilton.
More than 15 pounds of marijuana packaged in bulk and in small quantities, along with 2 grams of cocaine, were found at the address.
Anthony Broadus, 28, and Cameron Schooler, 27, both from Hamilton were arrested, along with Geran Anderson, 30, of East Saint Louis as a result of the investigation.
All three men face charges of trafficking and possession.
A Butler County Sheriff’s deputy had arrested Schooler on Jan. 20 for trafficking after Schooler was stopped for a broken taillight. More than $11,000 was seized from him at that time. He was out on bond when he got re-arrested.
