HAMILTON, Ohio – Police arrested a man Saturday accused of robbing three Hamilton businesses within 24 hours.
Matthew Kendrick, 27, was taken into custody in the 400 block of Hampshire Dr. without incident Saturday night, police said.
He is charged with three counts of aggravated robbery.
Authorities said Kendrick robbed Westside Pizza LLC and Arby’s on Hamilton’s west side Friday. He robbed a BP gas station at Erie Highway and High Street on the city’s east side Saturday afternoon, police said.
In the first two robberies, Kendrick claimed to have a gun, but never displayed a weapon, Hamilton Police Sgt. Ed Buns said.
Buns said a gun was seen in Kendrick’s waistband during Saturday’s gas station robbery.
Kendrick will be arraigned in Hamilton Municipal Court Monday morning.
