HAMILTON, Ohio -- A married New Miami father was indicted on multiple charges of rape Thursday and officials say he knew the victims through their relationship with his family, according to Journal-News.
Luke D. Buchanan, 34, faces five counts of rape of a child under the age of 13, three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, and multiple charges of permitting consumption or possession of alcohol by an underage person, gross sexual imposition, attempted rape and attempted gross sexual imposition.
The Butler County Sheriff's Office began investigating Buchanan in early June after allegations of sexual abuse involving four young male victims.
Buchanan was arrested and jailed on June 10 after a search warrant was executed at his address in the 140 block of Riverside Drive.
The investigation is ongoing and detectives say there is a possibility of more victims. Anyone with more information about Buchanan’s activities or any other victims is asked to call Detective Joe Fuller at (513) 785-1300 or (513) 785-1239.
