CINCINNATI -- A Cincinnati dentist’s office is reaching out to those in need.
Stone Creek Family Dental is participating in Free Dentistry Day on Friday.
The event was created to help people who cannot afford regular dental care or have no insurance.
Organizers said one third of Americans are living without dental insurance or cannot afford care due to the recovering economy.
Patrons in need will receive either one free cleaning, extraction or filling at the dentistry’s office at 3645 Stone Creek Blvd from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"Now more than ever, there are people in Cincinnati who need dental services but have no means to afford them - whether they're out of a job, or just don't have dental insurance," Dr. Zygintas Binkis said in a release. "This event is a great opportunity for us to share our time and resources with those less fortunate and give back to the community we serve."
Patients will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
