CINCINNATI -- Tuesday kicks off the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month and Mercy Health is helping Tri-State residents be proactive with their own well-being.

The American Cancer Society recommends that women 40-years-old and above should have a mammography once per year to stay safe.

Three Mercy Health Mobile Mammography traveling screening centers will be available to women during the month of October at locations close to their home or workplace.

The mobile mammography offers women screenings in 15 minutes or less and the newest unit offers 3D imaging, known as breast tomosynthesis, that can increase the chance of early breast cancer detection.

Make your appointment (required) by calling (513) 686-3300 or 1-855-PINK123 (1-855-746-5123).
