CINCINNATI (AP) -- The University of Cincinnati and a nearby community college plan to increase cooperation on transfers and other partnerships.

The presidents of UC and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College will meet Oct. 23 for a signing ceremony on their academic partnerships.

Details will be announced then, but the schools say the agreements include student transfer procedures, scholarships and placement of UC advisers at Cincinnati State's transfer center.

The ceremony will be on the Cincinnati State main campus.

The college also has campuses in Middletown in Butler County, in western Hamilton County in Harrison, and a workforce education center in suburban Evendale.
