CINCINNATI - Two intruders attacked an 87-year-old man in his Winton Hills home Thursday night, leaving him bloodied and bruised.
Glenn Mullins had to be hospitalized after the break-in in the 4900 block of Winton Road about 10:30 p.m.
The pair stole Mullins’ .44 Magnum revolver and tried to steal his Jaguar.
"He tried to get to his bedroom to get his gun and the one got hold of him and tired to break his neck,” Mullins’ daughter, Debby Dixon said. ”They squeezed him so hard, and the one rummaged through the house and found keys to a Jaguar. That's what they were after."
Mullins' family thinks the pair are the same ones who robbed him last week. She also fears they'll be back again, which she isn't sure her father can handle in his condition.
"He has been battling cancer for the past three years, and they just savagely beat my dad, and it's got to stop," Dixon said.
