Springfield Township Graeter's ice cream shop robbed at gunpoint

CINCINNATI -- Some Tri-State robbers apparently have a sweet tooth.

Officers said a Graeter’s ice cream shop on Galbraith Road in Springfield Township was robbed Thursday evening.

The robbery happened at about 5:45 p.m., according to police.

Officers said the robber showed a gun during the incident.

No one was injured and officers said the robbery got away with cash and two cellphones.

The robber was described as a tall, heavyset black man in his mid-30s who was wearing a long white shirt and baggy jeans.

This is the second Graeter's robbery this week. The Hyde Park store was hit Tuesday evening at about the same time.
