Person died at hospital
A man who was shot in Northeast Fairmount Wednesday night and pronounced dead soon after arriving to the hospital was identified by police early Thursday.

CINCINNATI -- A man who was shot in Northeast Fairmount Wednesday night and pronounced dead soon after arriving to the hospital was identified by police early Thursday.
The shooting happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Baltimore Avenue.
Medics rushed 25-year-old Jerico Griffin to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he died less than one hour later.
Police say Griffin was shot in the back.
No further details were immediately released.
The Cincinnati Police Department Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate.
