Mark Dowers: Drunk man appears in court for child support case, gets thrown in jail

LEBANON, Ohio - A Warren County man learned his lesson the hard way - don't be drunk when you go to court.

Mark Dowers, 43, appeared in Warren County Domestic Relations court Tuesday to answer contempt charges for allegedly not paying child support.

A court employee smelled alcohol on Dowers and Magistrate Yvonne Iversen sent him to Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Peeler.

Dowers blew a .192 - more than double the legal limit of .08.

Peeler sent him to jail for three days for contempt of court.
